Hey There
I want to share something with you. Some things, actually. I have been making things that you might like. They are ready to come with you. I want them to give you a little bit of something you might be missing. We don't have to define it right now. It can evolve. You can write the story of it's becoming in your own words, in your own style. I am just giving you the starting point, so you can make the story your own.
Let me share a story
Art has been a long road for me and I have been stumbling down it for years. It has never left me although I have occassionally lost track of it or let the detours guide me instead of the main path. I know that the act of observing is very important. I have a deeply searching mind and am looking for meaning everywhere. I am inspired by trees and clouds and flowers and plants in general. I imagine the breeze is trying to tell us all something and our homes are alive. The stories are everywhere.
I like to turn any scribble into something with dark layers or light. The torment and joy of being a human and being human in this world, at this moment informs my vision of each piece. I feel that art can make the day so much richer and so much more bearable when the chaos tries to overwhelm me (us). Or maybe just naming the chaos is enough for now.
I was that little girl who thought that every stuffed animal had a soul. I could not put even one of them in a box or the closet or ever allow them to feel left out. So my tea parties were vast. Everyone was given a seat at the table. I invite you to sit a moment at this tea table as well. I believe that art is for everyone. We all need something weird in our life.
I hope that you stay long enough to look through the paintings I've made. If you see something that speaks to you, then it was meant for you. My art is all original, hand-made, and one of a kind. You don't need a print, you need something that no one else will have. Something that speaks directly to you.
