For a about 6 months the only thing I drew was ravens and crows. There is something about the black and white, the pattern of feathers, the intelligence and resilience that these birds show us that pulls me in every time. I love that they have community. I love that they thrive in environments that weren't built for them. I love that they love shiny things. I feel a kinship to these mischievous beings. Somehow they hold a key that I, too, would like to posess. Or maybe I do, and it's just a matter of using it.
